Hi, I’m Olivia and I adore teaching at the StandOut Singing Studio! I love watching my amazing students break through as they learn new things and get creative with their voices as their confidence blossoms. I have loved singing since before I could speak, having been introduced to music by two opera singing parents and an opera singing brother. It’s possible that I’ve even sung a duet with the dog!

My passion for music has grown exponentially and poured into a wider love of the arts, which led me to taking up ballet and contemporary dance. I was given opportunity to sing solo and compere at the Sydney Opera House, Chatswood Concourse and Sydney Town Hall throughout my schooling.

I had the pleasure of performing in Opera New England’s productions of Susannah and La Traviata in 2015 and 2016, working with Operantics in operas and concerts including Mansfield Park, Bach’s St Matthew Passion and a number of concert series. I have also loved featuring as a soloist in Cantata’s and Christmas services at St Andrew’s Cathedral and Grace City Church’s Carols In The Park.

At the end of 2019, I completed my Bmus at AIM in Classical Performance studying under Arax Mansourian who demonstrated the value of a quality educator. In February of 2020, I was asked to perform in a new work, How To Build A Billy with Blush Opera in Queensland, and finally thrilled to be back on stage in 2021 as Emma Carew in Jekyll and Hyde.

It’s a privilege to watch every one of my amazing students experience the joy of singing with excellence and fun, rising to the challenges as they gain ever increasing confidence to reach and even surpass their goals and dreams.
